Many blogs include a list of recent posts on the sidebar. I’ve never really understood this. Often, a blog will list 10 posts on the home page, and the recent posts list includes those exact same posts. Is there value here that I’m just not seeing?
Now, I can understand if you want to show the next ten posts, ie those that have fallen off the first page. At least you’re exposing some of your hidden content to the light of day this way.
