Being human, I’m prone to do the occasional stupid thing. Like forget about my old business site for about six months. That’s how long it’s been since I last thought about Flashlight Design.
That’s the freelance company that predated The Blog Studio. I haven’t done a thing with it in years. So imagine my great surprise when I checked my stats today, and found that the site has been featured recently on three design gallery sites, sending me thousands of visitors. And I never knew about it!
I also get a fair bit of traffic from Google. Apparently the site ranks very well for “beautiful design”.
Imagine, if I put half a bit of effort into that site, I might be able to generate some business through it! To think it’s been sitting there humming along without me kind of boggles the mind.
