The Blog Studio
Peter Flaschner
Here’s what you need to know about me:
The underlying drive that led to the creation of The Blog Studio is a fundamental belief that talking WITH your clients is more effective than talking TO them. This is the common current that ties our expertise together.
You need to know a bit of my background to understand where this comes from. At the core, I’m ultimately interested in how we make our buying decisions. I’ve worked in marketing, advertising, sales, and retail. I am an expert salesperson. I started in retail when I was 12 years old, at PJ’s pets, and broke sales records in every single job I have ever held since then. Not because I am particularly smart or quick witted or even personable, but because I care about my clients, and I’m able to quickly make genuine personal connections.
I went back to school to study design when I was 30. I’ve always been drawn to design, in particular due to its ability to convey multiple levels of meaning, seemingly without effort. Design allows ideas to make genuine personal connections.
When I became aware of blogs in the spring of 2004, I recognized that they could be used to create those very same personal connections, but on a far vaster scale. Blogs and all their ancillary technologies amplify one’s voice; Instead of talking one to one, we’re talking one to world.
The Blog Studio’s mission is to help businesses and individuals amplify their own voice. We use our expertise in marketing, design, programming, and blogging to build unique, effective tools for creating real connections with your target audience.
We’re stupidly passionate about this stuff. I still get goose-bumps talking about it. In fact my passion for this has grown because I’ve had the opportunity to see the changes and successes blogging can bring into people’s lives.
