I’ve managed to squeak out a couple of minutes to update the work section of the site. Look for a bigger update soon-ish.

Portfolio Updated
I just uploaded a long overdue update to our work section. This is the first of a few (gasp) upcoming posts. If you review the work we’ve been up to, I’ll hope you’ll forgive the silence on the blog front. We’ve been doing some great work while navigating a few rough spots, so I’m very proud of our little team. We’re holding our heads up, and are very proud of the work we’re producing.
As always, there are a bunch of very cool projects in development. I’ll be trying to update the portfolio a bit more regularly, or at the least post here when we launch a new site. Thanks as always to our awesome clients for all the great opportunities. There are some very cool people behind the sites we’ve just added. Check out their sites, you may be surprised by what you find.
Site Launch - Blogosfere.it
Introducing one of The Blog Studio’s latest redesigns.
Blogosfere IT is an Italian blog network, covering topics from culture to science, from sports to fashion and so on. With over 100 blogs, Blogosfere needed a design and template system that would be easy to customize, easy to maintain, and easy to update.
We designed a flexible, CSS based template. In only a few minutes, the colour scheme and graphics of each site in the Blogosfere network can be customized. At the same time, the central layout and function is controlled via a single document, regardless of the number of sites in the network.
We thought we’d show a few before and after shots of the design.

Design must by its nature flow from the content.
When it does this, both content and design are elevated beyond the sum of their parts. Design reinforces and supports the content. It ads value and context to the meaning.
The following examples show a range of styles. They share a common commitment to the principles above, and to forwarding the art of blog design.
